SKA Machinery designs and manufactures coffee processing equipment for coffee mills, exporters, and roasting businesses in the world's coffee-growing regions, including Brazil, Colombia, Vietnam, Ethiopia, and Indonesia. The company is headquartered in Ningbo, China, with its production base in Anhui Province.
The equipment covers the three stages of coffee processing that come after drying: hulling, sorting, and roasting. The color sorter line runs from the MINI SKA-16, a compact machine built for roasting workshops, to the SKA-32 and SKA-2A128 for industrial lines with throughput up to 1 ton per hour. Hullers include the SKA-5CH1, rated at 2,000 kilograms per hour, and the SKA-Y150, which processes 600 to 800 kilograms of dried coffee per hour. On the roasting side there are the R3 industrial model and the R1 mini.
Every machine carries CE certification, and production runs under an ISO 9001 quality management system.
SKA Machinery is a manufacturer, not a trading company. We do not resell third-party equipment, and we do not build general-purpose sorting machines that get relabeled for coffee. The machines are engineered around how coffee behaves in processing: bean weight, moisture, and the small color differences that separate a good bean from a defective one.
The same optical sorting platform is also offered to grain and nut processors, but the development focus stays on coffee.
Sorters, hullers, and roasters come from the same engineering team. A mill buying a full line signs one contract and gets one installation crew, one warranty, and one point of contact for training and support.
The sorters identify up to 20 types of coffee defects with AI-based detection, at a rated sorting accuracy of 99.9% on standard test material.
The same platform scales from a workshop sorting a few hundred kilos a day to an industrial mill running up to 2.5 tons an hour.
All products are CE certified. The Anhui plant operates under ISO 9001, covering the quality management system from incoming components through final inspection before shipment. Sales, export logistics, and after-sales support run from the Ningbo office; fabrication and assembly take place in Anhui.
